The real shock came when I asked for a gluten free cake.
"One has just come out of the oven it will be 20 mins".
We weren't going anywhere so I agreed.
WOW !!!
I have been around a bit (in the nicest possible way) most continents and bounced over the equator more times than I care to remember BUT their "Humming Bird Cake" is the best gluten free cake I have ever tasted !
It goes exceptionally well with a pot of Lapsang Souchon.
